Y’all I seriously could not be happier that this past semester is over! Now, I can enjoy my family and our cozy home for winter break! While I am going to be busy with my online class, blogging, and such, I will definitely be enjoying some cheesy Christmas movies and Gingerbread lattes during this time off.
Being on break means that I will basically be living in this sweater. I’m actually wearing it right now as I am typing this post. It is so comfy! Plus it is from Kohls so of course it is super affordable!
The top and jeans are actually from Fashion Nova. As sexy as that site may seem it is actually a great place to go to for affordable wardrobe staples.
These cowgirl boots were literally bought on a whim but I love wearing them. They add a bit of sass to any outfit.
Necklace( sold out but similar)/Shirt/Sweater/Jeans/Boots
So needless to say this is going to be my go-to outfit for winter break. It is so cozy. I can wear it around the house, when I am running errands, or at a party with friends.
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve posted but I’m back with an outfit I know you all will love!
I usually post outfits that are very preppy and chic so this time I thought I would share a different part of my style with you all!
Cardigan(sold out but similar)/Purse/Dress(TJ Maxx;similar)/Bralette/Choker/Shoes(sold out but similar)/Sunglasses
I must say at first I was very hesitant to joining in on the choker trend. Now I am obsessed! They really help enhance that cutesy bad ass vibe I love adding to my outfits! This wrap choker from Target’s new collaboration with Baublebar is both cute and edgy at the same time!
Gold bracelet( sold out but similar )/Pink bracelet
I used to really stay away from the more form fitting types of clothing but now I can’t get enough of it! I feel like no matter what size you are body con dresses like these make you look amazing! Along with chokers, they are probably my favorite trend right now!

Last weekend my family and I drove up to Rocky Mount, North Carolina to visit my aunt and uncle who live there. We were especially excited to visit this time because my grandma was staying with her. My grandma lives in Georgia but wanted to come stay with my aunt and uncle to get a change of scenery. I always love getting to spend time with her! She is an absolute gem!
Not only is this outfit absolutely adorable and so put together but also very versatile! I could wear this to work at a boutique or any job that takes place at some time of office or out to the state fair with some friends!
Every fall, the woods and lake near our house, become completely engrossed in the most gorgeous fall leaves! I couldn’t resist getting some good photos of this beautiful lake!

I have been wearing plaid so much recently that my dad has started making lumberjack jokes about me.These flannel shirts from Old Navy are seriously so comfy and so cute! They are perfect for those lazy school mornings when you just want to throw on one of these with some leggings and a vest and hurry to that 9 AM college class that you are already running late for!
I have been absolutely obsessed with these boots! They are so comfy and literally go with everything! I wear these babies pretty much everyday! I got them on sale for 30 dollars! I highly recommend always keeping an eye out on the sale sections in your local mall. You never know what you might find!
So, tell me what is your go to outfit for when you are in a hurry? Let me know in the comments below!
So, recently my Mom and I went to drop our dog, Chloe off at her new boarding place. This overnight stay for her was a trial run for when we actually go out of town. We wanted to make sure she would be alright while she stayed there. On our way back we came across the most adorable floral boutique. They some of the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! The boutique is family owned. The people there were so nice!
Tank Top – Old Navy, Shorts – TJ Maxx, Bag – Old Navy(no longer sold but similar), Necklace – Versona Accessories(no longer but similar)
At the boutique, there was also a section where they sold fresh produce. They had everything from potatoes to fresh okra(I’m still not quite sure what that is but they looked really good). They also had their own homemade barbecue sauce, which you can see in the upper left corner.
As well as selling fresh flowers and produce, the also sold some lovely ornaments. There were also some nice baskets and vases for the customers to put their flowers in.
The weather was amazing that day! It was so sunny! This made the flowers look even more beautiful.
The view of the cornfield was amazing! A part of me wanted to go running into it like in Little House in the Prairie or something but then again I also didn’t wanna get lost and have a bunch of buzzards circle around me late at night.
Finding this lovely boutique was quite the surprise but I honestly can’t wait to go back! Maybe next time I’ll actually get to try their homemade barbecue sauce!
I am absolutely obsessed with this oversized blue sweater! I would love to tell you where I got it but I honestly have no idea. I “borrowed” it from my mom’s closet. It goes with literally everything! The pockets also really come in handy on those cold windy days. The sweater goes great with my new Old Navy jeans and black leather boots.
