This summer my family and I did something that we hadn’t done in a while. We visited our extended family in Columbus, Georgia for a week. It was seriously so great being able to catch up with everyone!
While we were there we also explored Columbus a bit and checked out some of the local restaurants and shops.
At the Plucked Up Chicken, my family and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and even did an impromptu photo shoot.
This place had the cutest art on the wall. I couldn’t help but strike a few poses!

This veggie wrap was seriously so good! It is healthy but tastes like the inside of an eggroll! Also, tater tots are one of my favorite foods so I instantly fell in love with the place!
And the coffee was some of the best coffee I have ever had! I didn’t even add any cream to it.
Even though we didn’t get to go to any local boutiques, we did go to the Peachtree City Mall. I went to Forever 21 as always and made a few purchases.
This top was seriously so cute! I’ve seen tops like this at other stores but for much higher prices, so when I saw that this one only cost 7 dollars I knew I had to have it!
Just like with the top, the design of this dress is one that I have seen on many websites and in plenty of boutiques, but for a much higher price. This dress was 10 dollars! So versatile and so comfy!
The night before going back, we had dinner at a restaurant called The Black Cow. It was very charming and welcoming, the perfect balance between a sports bar and family restaurant.
I got this delicious salad with mandarin oranges, walnuts, and a homemade sweet and sour dressing. So good!
Getting to explore a town that has seriously grown so much since the last time I went was so fun, and seeing my family that I haven’t seen in literally years was even better. I can’t wait till my family and I are able to go visit again.
